Mixplate Monday 4.4.11
Top of the morning to ya! I’m a wee bit tired cause I made the silly decision to stay up all night on Netflix, lol!
Last Week’s Highlights
- Played the usual Mixplate Monday
- Set up my new planner :)
- Had egg drop soup for the first time in forever! I must learn how to make it.
- Made some progress with 30 Days of Lists; See: Blog Goals, What’s In My Bag, Favorite Websites & Blogs, Wishlist, Date Ideas, and Weekly Rituals
- Had a lunch date (lots of girl talk needed) with two of my very best girls. PS: Get the Arugula Salad at Z Pizza. It’s srsly the bomb.com.
- Watched Harper’s Island (Yes, all 13 episodes!) on Netflix; If you like whodunnits as much as I do, you’ll love it!
- Put in my bid for tickets to the 2012 Olympics! Wish me luck!
- Had a major catch-up session with my friend Matt, who’s moving even farther away :(
- Lost one of my favorite necklaces :( Honestly, if my room wasn’t such a hot mess right now I could probably find it, haha!
- Didn’t have to park a million miles away from work! The construction these past couple of weeks has sucked big time.
Weekend Happenings
- Tried out a new moisturizer. I’ll let yo know how it goes.
- Downloaded a few things from the Mac App Store. Evernote (which I already had on my iPhone) is totally rocking my world.
- Made char siu chicken. Note to self: Marinate.
- Shopped with my mama
- Got hooked on Sons of Anarchy. Big time. PS: Wouldn’t “Jax” make a cute puppy name?!
- Stuffed my face with fish and poi <3
On the Agenda
- Starbucks study/work sesh with my cousin
- Importing everything from my old computer to my new one. It’s gonna be a long process, but I’m a dork for hyper-organization so I’m actually looking forward to it!
- Recipe-hunting online
As of Today
- Watching: Sons of Anarchy; I’m going crazy, waiting to go home and start season 2!
- Learning: A new song on the guitar
- Searching: For a volunteer opportunity that really grabs my attention
