This weekend, my co-worker Niki and her bf threw an adorable little party to celebrate the first birthday of their pup, Katsumi! So my brother and I packed up our two dogs (Ikaika the poi dog and Maka the pug) and headed to the Hawaiian Humane Society’s McInerny Dog Park to join in on the fun (and the party hats, as you can see)!
There was cake and treats (for humans and dogs), and the birthday girl looked especially fetching in her sash and sunglasses :) And there were games!
The whole thing was so much fun! I mean, it was my first dog party, our first time taking our two dogs to the dog park, and my brother and the dogs had fun with their new friends :) And letting them run around with other dogs, off-leash, was such a fun experience for them! Thanks, Niki, Chris, Katsu (and Kuri) for having us. And happy birthday, Katsu; Hope you enjoyed your special day!
I wanna know, how do you celebrate your pets’ birthdays? Have you ever been to a dog park? What’s the last party you went to?
Xoxo,
Tiera
