Swooning for Messenger Bags
This morning (and good morning, btw!) when I was getting ready, I was trying to figure out how I was going to get everything I need into my purse. I’ve been doing a lot more lately so I have more to lug around (A notebook, blog/work stuff, my camera(s), lunch for work, and gym clothes; Along with the usuals, wallet, keys, my planner, a book, and my makeup bag). And it’s only going to get worse as I work on more projects and head back to school (possibly? lol!) next semester.
So I’ve been thinking a lot recently about getting a messenger bag. I have one from Element, but the pocket/closure situation isn’t ideal (as in there are no extra pockets and the closure is a ridiculous elastic band that looks cute but isn’t functional), and a small Coach crossbody that isn’t quite big enough for my daily load. But I still prefer the messenger/crossbody to the shoulder bag or tote, especially for walking around campus and catching the bus (which I hope to be doing more of next semester). After scouring the internet I’ve settled into a few I’m really loving; And, naturally, they’re all grey :)
Clockwise, starting at top left: Grey Canvas Pumpkin Bag by TippyThai on Etsy; Grey Canvas Messenger with Leaves by Sinem Inugur on Etsy; Heirloom Convertible Messenger by Fossil; EZ Canvas Bag in Dark Grey by Kinies on Etsy.
I wanna know, what do you think about these bags? What’s your daily luggage situation?!
Xoxo,
Tiera
