The other day, as I was driving home from work, the day looked like it was on the verge of something beautiful; So I decided to journey up to Round Top Drive and watch the sunset!
While looking for a place to park, and for a watching spot with a good view, I stumbled upon the Kalawahine Trail, a hike I hadn’t done in years! It was lucky I had my gym shoes in the car, ’cause I went for it :)
There was a beautiful view of Diamond Head and some of East Honolulu.
And, like a little window looking out to the rest of the island, beautiful ‘Ewa and ocean views, too.
There were some beautiful green ferns, amongst a lot of brown :( And, of course, sunset views from every angle.
I saw what I thought was an abandoned building on a distant cliff, and I thought it would be an interesting place for a photo shoot (But then I saw that a light was on once I uploaded the pictures, so that might not work out). I also saw a beautiful Asian-inspired home through some brush.
I wanna know, what’s your favorite hike? Or one that you’ve been on lately?
Xoxo,
Tiera

I definitely did not do enough hiking while I lived there. I miss those gorgeous sunsets. Thanks for stopping by my page and leaving a comment :)
@April Rose: Yes, sometimes I forget that Hawaii really is a beautiful place :) I’m definitely loving your blog and sense of style, and hope to visit Australia one day… Maybe you can do my makeup!
@Vicky: Right? I need to get out and hike more, too! Hope you’re feeling a little better :)
Beautiful! I haven’t been on a hike in far too long, but I do go for a lot of walks..if that counts. My favorite spot around here is a secluded little area that looks a bit different each time I visit because of the tide.
