I got a little bit of a late start, so it wasn’t all rainbow and unicorns this morning, but I’m here, and looking forward to getting tons of work done and celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday! For now, though, let’s celebrate Mixplate Monday :)

- Got cut off from Community by the press conference announcing that the University of Hawaii will be joining the Mountain West Conference
- Shared my love for documentaries
- Went for a sunset hike
Started ordering Christmas gifts for my friends and family! - Listed 10 reasons why I don’t drink coffee
- Linked to some of my favorites from the interwebs
- Rocked some of the new headbands I’ve made!
Weekend Happenings
- Saw Due Date with my cousin Tiari (Funny, but with heart!)
- Shared some of my favorite quotes from Eat, Pray, Love
- Got to a few work projects I brought home for the weekend
- Got my blog/work files organized
- Ate huli huli chicken for lunch with Pops (Stan’s at Ward, in the Jamba parking lot, is srsly amazeballs! Get the brown bag, which includes a half chicken, 2 musubis, can soda/juice and a choice of chips or kim chee for $5!)
- Finally started season four of Dexter!
- Hawaii boy BJ Penn KOed out Matt Hughes in the first round! PS: A.I. would scrap!
- Had some delicious shrimp and chicken with ginger-garlic sauce at dinner with my bff Joelle, then headed out for a few hours, and a few drinks, to celebrate my friend Pono’s birthday
- Answered a few questions for The Sunday Seven
- Mmm, cooked some steak and onions, and ate it with poke (of course!)

- Cooking for Thanksgiving dinner!
- Writing some Christmas cards, for friends and fam and for Project Love Note
- Finalizing my Christmas list, now that my bff and I have set the date for Christmas shopping
- Planning a lovely little holiday giveaway for the blog, so stay tuned!

- Wearing: Yogurt, my new fave NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil
- Smelling: The autumn potpourri I’m working on
- Waiting: For the next two discs of Dexter season four to arrive via Netflix
