Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010.

• Ringing in the new year at the Ihilani
• Being in school. Sometimes with Tiari :)
• Going to Vegas with Tiari! Which meant: Holding a real gun, getting a massage in public, shopping, photographing everything, hitting triple 7’s on a slot machine! And eating at buffets. Every. Single. Day.
• Rum Fire for my birthday!
• Lots of walking.
• Riding the bus. (Which also equals lots of walking and reading!)
• The closing of The Honolulu Advertiser, and all the good times before and after
• Spending more time with my mom and brother (which means cooking/baking and shopping!)
• Bbq-ing at my mom’s. On a regular basis.
• Overloading at Genki Sushi. On a regular basis.
• Vowing never to go to Mac 24-7 ever again
• First birthday luaus for Tyxae, Mihakeaulana, and Hi’ipoikahaulahilahi
• Taking one of Jocelyn’s Zumba classes; This chick is hardcore!
• Lunching at Jocelyn’s house before she headed back to Utah after the summer
• Letting go.
• The birth of my new little cousin, Justin Raine!
• My papa’s health scares :(
• Going to Kona with Khrystyne!
• Going to the BI with the BFF for Tia’s beautiful and crazy fun wedding!
• Getting lost, Waimea Lodge, Hawaiian Style Cafe and beaching it at Hapuna with Mama, Troy and Mike :)
• Dancing hula on Kaua’i
• Starting Side Culture :)
• Uncle Bo’s and Kanpai’s with Mama, Daniel, Justin — And sometimes with Blaise, Katie and Jayson, too!
• Girls night out with the Raqedan ladies!
• Finding out my cousin Tiffy is expecting! And being at her ultrasound when she found out it was a boy :)
• Mama’s tattoo appointment and dinner with the fam at Sam Choy’s
• Tsukiji’s for Matt’s birthday
• INCEPTION! Twice! Tom Hardy + Joseph Gordon-Levitt <3
• Eclipse. Twice!
• Hiking. All by my lonesome!
• Spending countless hours on Hulu and Netflix
• Clothes/shoe/jewelry shopping.
• Cooking adventures
• Girls dinners at The Old Spaghetti Factory
• Begrudgingly going to Mai Tais
• Not having a Christmas tree, but still having lots of presents ;)
• Watching high school and UH sports, and not from the newsroom!
• Taking the dogs hiking and to the dog park for Katsu’s birthday party!
• Meeting new people and making new friends; And losing some old ones
• Closet shopping
• Finding out one of my best friends, Matt, is moving to the mainland.
• Late nights and hotel parties
• Hilarious and beautiful Christmas cards, and meaningful ones for Project Love Note
• Fireworks and food

Wowzers — Quite a year, I’d say! Despite all the memories, I’m glad that 2010 is behind me :)
